The last time I rewrote the “About” section of this blog was three years ago! It’s been a minute. I began this blog right after my husband, Brandon, and I got married almost 10 years ago. It became such a wonderful place for me to dialogue the afflictions our family walked through in the first two years of our marriage.
Brandon was diagnosed with a rare bone marrow disorder in 2008 and had a bone marrow transplant in 2009. Then a year later, our oldest, then 22 months, had a brain bleed and stroke and had two major brain surgeries.
Also, this blog exists to tell of the wonderful things our Great God has done in giving us salvation in Christ. He has been so faithful to do all things well and to keep us during our physical trials on this earth and give us strength to persevere until the end!
I am a follower of Jesus, and a wife to Brandon! We will be married for 10 years in December 2017. We have five gifts from God and are daily extenders and receivers of His grace. We fall down everyday, but by God’s kindness, we get back up, ask forgiveness and press on to love Him and love others.
